Let’s strip! Teeth whitening strips are a relatively popular way of teeth whitening. But do they work?
By now you probably know about mouth whitening trays, tooth whitening gel and tooth whitening toothpaste. But how about the strips? What is the consensus in the dental community about this method of whitening your teeth?
There is something about just sticking something right on my teeth that makes me squirm a little. But that is a silly reason not to do something, is it not? I used to think that you had to wear teeth whitening strips at night while you slept. That proves not to be the case, in actuality.
How do you use them? Well, if the gel the teeth whitening strips use contains hydrogen peroxide, you definitely do not want them to be on that long. You merely have to put them on for say, half an hour per day.
I recently saw a video about teeth whitening. The lady and her boyfriend were using teeth whitening for just 10 days. You could easily see a difference. But you know what? Their teeth were outlandishly white! They could have blinded you just by opening their lips a centimeter! That is certainly not the way to go about things. The duo showed me that they were actually using the method too much as they said they were doing it “a lot.” Please, do not go about it that way.
A recent consumer report said that between toothpaste, mouth trays and teeth whitening strips, the strips worked best. So why not get stripping?
